Still Miss You Mom

Woke up with the song God Will Take Care of You on my mind. And then I remembered what day it was. One year ago today Mom moved to heaven and now God is still taking care of her and us. I still want to pick up the phone and call her and talk about all that is happening in my life and find out the family news from her. She was my connection to everyone. How appropriate that she left on Ground Hogs Day. It's a day when we look to see how much longer until the sun comes out! We are still looking to see when the Son will come back to shine in our lives. Will He be another six weeks, six years, or six hundred? Maybe six seconds. I don't know but I do know we are looking with expectation towards the day He comes back and brings Mom with him.
