Where did your father go to work every day and what did he do? Write about what you remember Dad doing. I remember him leaving early in the morning and getting home around 3:30, just about when we got home from school. He worked at GE in maintenance while I was younger. I remember taking lunch to him with Mom. I also remember him doing electrical work on the weekends and getting to help him by splicing and pulling wires. He was always working on something. I remember Dad doing devotions every morning. I remember him coming home at 3:30 during the week and eating supper at this time. Mom used to tell him to slow down. I remember camping on the weekend and going swimming when he was done with work. Going for Sunday drives and splitting a candy bar or wintergreens or icecream between all of us.
I remember Dad getting up early as he still does to read the word. Then we would all join him. Then out the door he went like a bullet. Home to eat a fast meal then out the door again. Always took vacation even if it was with him working. He would come home at night and have ice cream.
