Our Next Journal Question - Books
What were some of the books you read growing up that you enjoyed? Mom didn't comment on this; however, my favorites were the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys series. We had almost all of them when I was young. I even started reading the Nancy Drew young adult series when we moved here. I found out that Carolyn Keene lived in Toledo! I lived there 19 years and never knew that. What a bummer. I wonder if I could have met her? What books do you remember reading?

I also remember reading Nancy Drew and Hardy boys. We read more then because we didn't have tv. i don't remember any other reading until bible school.

Cindy, I enjoyed the Black Stallion series as a kid. I'd imagine what it would be like to come home from school some day, get off the bus and there would be my parents holding the bridle of my own big black horse. Alas, we had cows and Dad said no way.
